This web page requires Chrome 11 beta or newer! (Contact Us)
This web page demonstrates the incredible ease
that you can add Google's professional level speech recognition support to your web pages
just by adding the webkit speech input element. Chrome's HTML5
support and Google's speech servers do all the work. Best yet, Google is not charging for
this service!
By taking advantage of Chrome's HTML5 support this page gives you a complete voice controlled interface for
searching for videos on YouTube and playing them.
Here's how to use it:
- Video Search - Click the microphone icon and say some keywords. You will see
the search results appear below. For example, try saying "Google Python"
- Play a Video - Click the microphone icon and say "PLAY followed by one or more
words from the title of the video you want to play.
- Stop/Resume a Video - Click the microphone icon and say "STOP" to stop the currently
playing video, and "PLAY" (by itself) to resume it.
